About The Lightning Path

The Lightning Path is a system of authentic spirituality developed by Dr. Michael Sharp. The Lightning Path provides everything you need in order to awaken, empower, and ascend. It includes a completely specified cosmology and theology, a complex and powerful guide to archetypal revision and right thinking, and authentic spiritual techniques that encourage proper and rapid spiritual growth and empowerment. Several features of The Lightning Path distinguish it from other offerings and make it worth perusing. The Lightning Path (LP) is:

Direct. The LP provides direct and unequivocal guidance for you. It teaches what you need to know, what you need to do, and how you need to do it. The LP does not beat around the bush or equivocate. If your goal is awakening and enlightenment, if your goal is to remove the blindfold, empower, and ascend, the LP will tell you exactly what you need to do to achieve this goal in this lifetime.

Consistent and Logical. The pieces of the LP fit together and work as a logical and coherent unit. On The LP you will find no contradictions in teaching, no illogical constructs, and no leaps of faith. The LP is rigorous, intellectually satisfying, grounded, and empirically sensitive.

Fully Specified and Exposed. All concepts and ideas provided on the LP are fully specified, defined, and exposed. There are no cryptic metaphoric mazes, no secret teachings aimed only at the “worthy,” and no “inner circles” where power is held and people are excluded. All aspects of the LP are accessible to all and open to examination. In this context the SpiritWiki (created by Michael Sharp) provides the canonical repository of all things LP.

Non Threatening. The LP does not threaten with visions of hell or intimations of karma (i.e. punishment). You may step onto, or off of, The LP as you see fit with no fear of punishment or sanction. The only motivation for following an authentic spiritual path is the intrinsic reward that comes from awakening and empowerment. An awakened and empowered individual is in control, happy, well adjusted, healthy, and present. An awakened and empowered individual rises above the drama, pathology, and illness of “normal” existence and takes direct control of their existence. An awakened and empowered individual is whole and aligned with their own higher consciousness. The vessel is filled. What other motivation is there?

Open to Empirical Verification. The LP specifies concrete and observable goals and expectations. When you follow this path of authentic spirituality (or any path of authentic spirituality) you should expect observable differences and quantifiable changes. For example, your health and well being should improve dramatically. You should also experience enlightenment, i.e. an expansion of consciousness outside the narrow confines of your normal existence and a dramatic increase in your ability to understand. Traveling the LP you will, amongst other things, come to understand the nature of God, creation, and your role in it. You will also come to understand the nature of this Earth, why it exists the way it does, and what we can do about the current sad state of affairs. In other words, the Blindfold should drop and the world should be revealed to you for what it is.

Accessible to Everyone. The primary goal of the LP is spiritual transformation of you and this planet. In order to accomplish that goal the LP must be accessible to everyone regardless of background. In that regard LP teachings are grounded, sensible, accessible, and eschew rocket science and EPMO. LP teachings are understandable to everyone. It is important to note despite the accessible nature of the LP teachings, the LP does not sacrifice explanatory efficacy. Even the most complex topics, like money and the economy (see my Rocket Scientist’s Guide to Money and the Economy) are specified and exposed so that everyone may see the Truth.

Easy to Translate. Because the LP is consistent and logical, fully specified and accessible, The Lightning Path teachings are easy to translate into other languages.
