The Calling from the Halo/Sharp Tarot
One of the primary goals of authentic spirituality is awakening. On the Lightning PathTM (LP) awakening is conceived of using the Water Glass Metaphor. Your body, your physical unit, is like an empty water glass and consciousness is like water poured into the glass. The more consciousness you manage to get into the glass, the more awake you will be. The goal of awakening is full consciousness and full expression of the divinity that lies dormant within you.
The LP notion of awakening as the process of filling the vessel with consciousness is compatible with other spiritual conceptualizations. It is compatible with the notion of the descent of the Holy Spirit, compatible with notions of enlightenment and the attainment of nirvana, and compatible with psychological notions of “shifts in consciousness.” If you consider high levels of consciousness in the body as “Christ-like” or “Krishna-like,” then the LP helps you attain Christ consciousness or Krishna consciousness.* It does this by:

LP guidance on awakening can be summed up as encouraging right thinking, right action, and right environment. Right thinking, right action, and right environment are the cornerstones of your awakening (and empowerment) process.
In terms of right thinking, the LP encourages you to shed old world ideas and concepts that keep you locked in the limited consciousness of “normal.” The LP also encourages you to adopt new world ideas that empower and transform. The LP provides a lot of resources to help with this mental transformation including the revolutionary Halo/Sharp tarot/archetypal deck. The Halo/Sharp deck is a completely revised set of archetypes designed specifically to help you shed the dogmatic and limiting ideas of old world spirituality, and to help you replace them with the liberating and empowering ideas of new world spirituality. The LP also encourages right action, that is action aligned and compatible with the expectations of your higher consciousness. As you will learn, right action is not about pretending negativity, violence, and injustice do not exist, nor does it mean accepting all the bad things that happen all around you. Right action is about compassion, healing, support, and transformation. Right action is about creating warm, supportive, loving, and prosperous environments for everybody, not just a special “chosen” few. Right action doesn’t enable, it supports and uplifts.
Finally, on the LP we strive for right environment. Right environment is an environment attuned and aligned with your higher self and free of violence, abuse, and suffering. The reality is you cannot heal and transform your physical body while you are subjected to ongoing abuse. Neither can higher consciousness, which is extremely aware and sensitive, tolerate much pain and suffering without shrinking back in pain. Therefore those who walk the Lightning Path strive to improve how they treat others, how others treat them, and the general condition of their environment. This is accomplished slowly, by degrees, and sometimes with the help of professionals, psychologists, and LP Mentors. Small improvements may lead to big changes in awakening and empowerment leading to further improvements and enhancements.
Working towards right thought, right action, and right environment are the keys to spiritual awakening and empowerment. The LP provides a wealth of guidance in this regard.
